Johnny could you ask your granny if she's ever heard of Shah Biscuits. They look slightly like a ginger nut but are thicker and not so hard. My late mum used to make them and her other recipes are the same as your nanny's (boiled cake, shortcrust pastry, cheesecake buns and tiffin) thank you xx

You have to have the balance. The ying and the yang as they say. I hope you don’t mind me saying but I could recently start to see what appeared to be frustration in some of your Social posts. Once it gets there you need a break. I’m glad you plan to take a bit of time to yourself, as you rightly should. Get back to enjoying things. I too have missed some signs in my life and then had to “reset” rather than manage the balance as I went. Enjoy the time away. Hope to see you enjoying things again soon, but not too soon.

Social media can be a rewarding place but a lot of people don’t understand the work that goes into keeping any social media page popular. Everyone deserves a break and sometimes a total switch of is all we need. But more importantly spending time with people close to us is just what the doctor ordered. Went to London in August there with my eldest and we ate in a steakhouse called Angus steakhouse which was unreal. There’s a good ice cream (sweet shop) in the middle of Camden market. Think it was called Hansel & gretel. Bubble waffles from the market where good to. Would be rude to go to London & not have a Wendy’s burger now 😆. We also went to an Irish bar called oneills, both meals we had from there where unreal to. There is an oneills near Leicester Square that has amazing features inside like an artificial tree trunk through the middle of it, think the building was originally a church as a lot of the seats where church pews. Apparently do a good Guinness in there to

Oh you have to. But no pressure now you have to enjoy yourself first and foremost. Would definitely recommend Camden market even the wee stalls there where unreal. I’m sure your list is some length. We are looking at going back next year again so be interesting to see what you find. Gail’s bakery is another good one I’ve seen on instagram a lot to

I spend quite a lot of time in London as my brother lives there with his girlfriend and we all take eating pretty seriously 🤣 some of my favourites are .. Borough market - Black pig for the roast pork sandwich Double knot cafe - big fat stuffed Jamaican patties and the loaded fries are so good as well Auld hag - Scottish breakfast rolls China town - Bun house and China town bakery but love just wondering around trying different things Bao - they do a great set menu and it’s really good value Mersin Tantuni - really good Turkish food, the thing they’re famous for on TikTok is the tantuni wrap with the yogurt but I actually preferred the wrap on its own and the aubergine dip is class! Beigel bake Brick Lane - salt beef beigel’s 😍 Market Halls - there’s a couple across London and they have a bar and then little versions of restaurants like Bao and Roti King so you can order food from different places and take it to your table. Kosoff’s bakery - great pastries and coffee Buns from home - bit of a novelty but they are good The regency cafe - it has recently been taken over but think it’s still meant to be just as good, always a queue but worth it and they do a good cup of tea! Baban’s Naan - looks very questionable inside but their wraps are class I could go on all day 🐷🤣 … eating (and maybe having a few drinks 😏) is the main thing we do so it’s all places that are reasonably cheap and more sort of street food rather than proper restaurants. Also don’t know if you follow him but I always trust James Dimitri’s reviews and recommendation as well.

Johnny, you need to take care of yourself at the moment. That's the most important thing. We'll all be here for you when you're ready and feel able to concentrate on social media again. Enjoy your time in London, and please stop feeling that you have to apologise. You showed great strength yesterday and I have no doubt, that you have given courage to others to open up to family/friends/doctor ❤️❤️

Enjoy your wee trip to London Johnny, you’ve absolutely earned it after everything you’ve done! I hope it gives you the inspo and much needed break you deserve. Social media is hard and it definitely sneaks up on you and pulls the rug out from under your feet at times. I hope you feel more like yourself soon and enjoy your time over here ☺️ looking forward to seeing what ideas you’ll have when you come back!
