Cut your brussel sprouts off the stalk and peel the outer layer of leaves off. Wash these in some cold water and add to a saucepan. Add boiling water and blanche them (boil for about 5 minutes) to soften. Drain them from the water and set aside.

Hi Eileen, apologies I was offline for a while there. It's the store bought packs you can get, they're basically cooked already and you just add them in 🙌🏻

Jonny thank you. But I didn't use this recipe. As I hadn't got a clue what to do. So just left it. Lol. Can't cook won't cook😂
