Golden Diner Pancakes

My wee Sister and Mum had a once in a lifetime trip to New York. When they returned they didn't shut up about these pancakes the famous Golden Diner. I unfortunately won't be getting to New York anytime soon so I made it my mission to recreate them. Apparently I wasn't far off the real thing and they were bloody delicious. They take a bit more effort than my normal pancake recipe but by jaysis they're good.

I forgot to mention that I let the first mixture sit for an hour.. And this recipe makes 3 big old pancakes πŸ₯ž so divide it equally as you cook!

These look incredible!!!! I am asking my youngest daughter (she's 37, older than you!) if she has gone to that restaurant in NYC yet. She and her husband live in Queens (Astoria). I have made so many of your recipes. Love them! Pam G.
