Add your water, buttermilk and yeast to a large mixing bowl. Whisk this together to combine. Add 1/2 your flour and mix this together. Cover with clingfilm and place in a slightly warm place to allow it to activate and bubble for about an hour.

These look incredible!!!! I am asking my youngest daughter (she's 37, older than you!) if she has gone to that restaurant in NYC yet. She and her husband live in Queens (Astoria). I have made so many of your recipes. Love them! Pam G.

Shrove Tuesday bun and here in Sweden we eat these instead of pancakes. Although will definitely make the pancakes as well ππ
