Homemade Coleslaw

You won’t need to buy coleslaw again when you see how handy and tasty this homemade one is. We would use it in our buttermilk chicken burgers and for the weekly fixing of sandwiches. It's the perfect side for the summer months, if that's on a salad or to go with a bbq. This makes a big old batch which is perfect to bring along to those family and friend gatherings. My go to snack with coleslaw as a young fella was fresh wheaten bread buttered, loads of ham, heaps of coleslaw and seasoned to the gills with salt and pepper. Don't knock it to you try it. Fun fact, my Granda Alfie used to work in a coleslaw factory but it didn't seem to translate into helping me with this recipe.

Notes

This makes a big old batch so you can adjust quantities if you’d like. The beauty to this recipe is you can add a bit more mayo or seasonings. It's totally down to your taste and preference. As you'll see I added plenty more mayo to my original idea.
