Apple Crumble

In my eyes an apple crumble or tart could be deemed the best dessert. It never fails to bring comfort to the soul. Especially when you get a big chewy bit of crumble with lashings of creamy custard. The traditional use of cooking apples cuts through the sweetness and is a combination that's stood the test of time. It's hard to turn your nose up at a good crumble and I think you'll love this one.

Some midweek guests for tea. It’s a cold and wet days so what better to finish a meal! I added cinnamon as it is a favourite of mine and some more oats as we like it crunchy. Husband already making sure that there is enough custard.
