Bacon and Cabbage

Bacon and cabbage will always be a classic. We all have our way of making it and this is my take on the beauty. I like to use good thick dry cured bacon from the butcher. Whereas a lot of others will use a wee ham joint, that's a variation I need to get uploaded. This has a lovely creamy peppery sauce which is perfect for that salty and tasty bacon. The flavours remind me of a cabbage side you could get in M&S, something I was slightly addicted to.

Going to cook this for dinner today, does any type of cream do or is there a difference or a preference between single/double?

Apologies Shauna, I was offline for a bit there and getting stuck back into things! Honestly it's down to preference, the double cream will give a richer and creamier sauce which is lovely 🤤
