Slow Cooker Brisket

Slow cookers can be right and handy at times and it came in trumps for this brisket I made. It might come as a surprise but I have more of a savoury tooth, so this was right up my street. The brisket just falls apart from the lengthy cook, melting in your mouth. The seasonings and sauce give it that deep yet sweet bbq flavour, something I could eat on the daily.

Step 1

Plaster your brisket in dry rub on both sides, patting and rubbing this in well. Use a shop bought rub or add all the ingredients below into a bowl and mix together. Allow this to sink in and marinate for about 30 minutes.
