Banana Pudding

The inspiration for this one was a trip to America with my wee sister and her fella. I realise I sound like a major third wheel but we're all very close and surprisingly only had the one falling out. I wanted to create one of the American classics before we left and it was the banana pudding. It was absolutely delicious with the smooth custardy filling, proven by my Granda Alfie's verdict. It's very handy to make and I hope you enjoy! Don't let my Granda's description of it looking like 'a dog's dinner' put you off. It certainly didn't stop him horsin' down!
