Buttermilk Chicken Burgers

A burger is hard to bate and these buttermilk chicken burgers went down a treat in our house. The buttermilk makes the chicken nice and tender, with the thick crunchy crust providing a serious combination. The seasonings add a delicious flavour and it paired perfectly with our homemade coleslaw recipe. If that doesn't sell it to you my Granda's verdict should do the trick.

Step 1

We used chicken breasts for this but you can also use boneless and skinless thighs if you'd prefer. Cut these into chicken burger sizes and butterfly to give more surface area. If using thighs there's no need for this. Pop your chicken into a large bowl.

I think I used about a litre or so, just enough to submerge your chicken burgers mate 👍🏻
