Nanny's Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce will always be the best accompaniment to a Christmas dinner, well gravy might just pip it? I love it and eat it all year round. To the point when I get a sandwich out with my best friend Clark, it will always have chicken, ham, stuffing, cheese and cranberry sauce. It's become a real tradition. We're huge fans but I think that might be because my Nanny’s recipe is special. Plus it’s wild handy to make!

Step 1

Add your grated orange, cranberries, orange juice and port to a pot. Get it over a medium heat and bring up to a simmer. Give this the odd stir every so often so it doesn't stick to the arse of the pan. The cranberries will begin to pop and release their tasty goodness. Add your sugar and mix this in.
