Upside Down Pear and Almond Cake

There's plenty of pears lying about these days with it being the tail end of the season. And I tell you what, this is the perfect way to use them up! It's ohhh so moist in the middle with a delicious light almond flavour, along with your soft sweet pears on top. Then you have your slight crisp crust from the caramel which is a great combo. According to my Granda the only issue was I only made the one!

Love hearing that Sharon, it's one of our favourites! Pretty sure you could substitute the pears for so many other things. I need to do a pineapple one soon 🤤
