Chocolate Brownies

Getting your brownies the right consistency can be tricky. You don’t want aul dry, cakey brownies. At the same time you don’t want them ‘running down your elbow’ as my Granda would say! This recipe hits it right in the middle, providing that moist, dense, delicious chocolatey flavour. The addition of chocolate chunks throughout are a great wee bit of added texture and a nice surprise when you find one.

Method

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Melt your chocolate and butter over a bain-marie (a guide for this is in the notes section). Once melted set aside and allow to cool. Add your eggs to a large bowl along with your caster sugar. Beat these together until they become pale and fluffy, they will also double in size.

I used your chocolate brownie recipe and added a chocolate ganache topping, oh my they are delicious, my Daughter said they're the best brownies I've ever made, I have to agree its a fabulous recipe with a lovely fudgy texture how a brownie should be 🥰
