Creamy Turkey, Leek and Bacon Pie

There’s always a slap of turkey leftover from Christmas or even chicken after a roast. This creamy turkey, leek and bacon pie knocks the aul curry you'd normally make out the gap. It's packed with plenty of meaty goodness and is deliciously creamy, something every pie should have. My Granda even said it was close to being better than the actual Christmas dinner. But neither of us will say that because that's the best meal of the year!

Notes

There’s always a slap of turkey after the big day! And this creamy turkey, leek and bacon pie knock an aul curry out the gap 🤤 I think my Granda’s reaction will have ye sold 🙌🏼 He said it was close to the actual Christmas Dinner and would have licked the plate.. Bit like my best mate @tomfarrell_00 😅 and he said it’s a better use for the than giving it to the dog 😂 My Nanny was on my case the whole way through this but sure ye wouldn’t have it any other way.. We’re probably as bad as each other and want to do things our way 😅 but that’s what makes these wee moments and I’m sure it’s exactly the same in your kitchen at home ❤️

Made this today. Really easy. As I had no turkey left and just used ham, I added in a tbsp of Dijon mustard. Worked out fine. Defo going to cook this again with chicken. Thanks 👍👍
