A lemon drizzle will always be a classic. It's a delicious treat for any occasion, especially if you’re a fan of citrus flavours. I created this wee recipe and my Nanny wanted it immediately after tasting, which says it all if you ask me. It's extremely moist from the soft sponge and lemon drizzle that seeps through. Packing a fresh, tart, citrus flavour, yet so sweet. The icing and crumbled flake on top just add to the package, making for the perfect treat.
