Not sure what's happened there Shauna, is there any ingredient you're leaving out or substituting? If not chill the dough for longer or even pop into the freezer for 30 minutes before baking 🙌🏻

Oh this shortbread is so delicious, melt in the mouth, and i put some into freezer to see if it would freeze well, still very good even after a few weeks in freezer. My old recipe won't be used again, this is my new fave

Delighted to hear that Heather 😄 That's a great wee tip! I'd do the same with cookie dough, makes it very handy when you fancy a wee treat 🙌🏻

I did a variation of Nanny’s shortbread and added chocolate chips and toffee pieces and we added it to our bakery lineup here in California! Although I have made this recipe five times, I have not been able to roll it out and just scoop it! Still comes out amazing and the customers are loving them! 💕
