Slow Cooker Sticky Beef

This wee recipe is so handy to rustle up and perfect to pair with anything. Lob it on top of some spuds, rice or even a lovely fresh bap, the combinations are endless. It has a delicious rich flavour and best of all you just throw it all into the slow cooker and it does the rest. It's the perfect wee meal prep if you're stuck for time. You could add your favourite bbq sauce at the end or any sauce for that matter, but it tastes that good you won't need it.

Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

It's simple, pop your beef into the slow cooker, along with your honey, soy sauce, garlic puree, ginger puree, Gochujang, miso paste and season to taste with some pepper. Mix this all together to coat the beef and add about 50ml of the boiling water you use to clean your spoon. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or high for 4-6 hours. The lower the temperature, the more tender your beef should be.
