Vegetable Broth with Ham

An old school broths is packed with all the good stuff and is a proper soothing bowl of goodness. We would have a pot of this most weeks through the winter. It's perfect with some floury potatoes or a few slices of batch loaf plastered in butter. If you're from around my way you'd devour half a loaf of Nutty Krust with this. It’s wild simple to make but the challenge was trying to gauge all the quantities for you. My Nanny doesn’t operate like that, she goes by eye. But we got there in the end.
