Ingredients: 200 g Bacon; 500 g Steak pieces; 500 g Lamb; 1/2 tbsp Sea salt; 1 tsp Black pepper; 1/2 tsp Sea salt; 40 g Flour; 1 Large onion; 4-6 Garlic cloves; 350 ml Red wine; 400 g Button mushrooms; 950 ml Beef stock; 1 tbsp Tomato paste; 2 Bay leaves; 1/2 tsp Thyme; 1 kg Potatoes; 4 Carrots

My version of a traditional stew was always going to be different. We all have our spins on the hearty classic and mine might be the one for you. Some people might describe it as a brown stew but one thing's for sure it was packed full of meat and flavour. It has a lovely rich and deep flavour and pairs perfectly with a big slice of Nutty Krust bread plastered in butter.
