Old School Cake

This one will always be a favourite and just seeing it brings back the memories. It's extremely simple to make, yet tastes so good with the light airy sponge and sweet icing. Like everything, simple done right is hard to beat. But pair it with some warm custard and it’s nostalgia in a bowl.

Great recipe, lovely cake. I think I put too much milk in the icing sugar, still amazing.

Thank you Lisanne 😄 I wouldn't worry about that, it's all about how it tastes! If you want it a bit thicker next time just add a bit more icing sugar to balance it out 👍🏻

Thanks for that makes sense to add more icing rather than add less milk. It was light and fluffy. Tasted amazing.
